I have been thinking about the perfect home, the perfect neighborhood, the perfect place of employment, and the perfect life. But what am I really looking for? When I look beneath all those desires, the answer is peace.

I want a place where I can be myself and flourish. Being able to show up as myself matters, but so does having room to grow, contribute, and use what God has placed within me.

I can be grateful for my life and still recognize that something needs attention. I am not unhappy. Yet I know what it feels like to keep watching my back, changing my mind, and allowing circumstances to determine how I move.

What Would Peace Look Like?

Would owning a home bring it? Would completing my projects make me feel settled? Those things matter to me. Still, I am learning to ask what I can begin to settle within myself while I work toward them.

Perhaps peace begins with knowing what matters, honoring my values, and taking one purposeful step at a time. I do not have to finish every project today to give my life direction.

My next chapter must make room for growth, contribution, and rest. I am moving forward with faith.

A Thought to Carry With You

I am seeking peace, room to be myself, and space to flourish. That is part of freeing my purpose.
